Meet Jennifer…

Hi! I’m Jennifer Miller, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 20 years of experience supporting children (ages 6+), teens, adults, and families, who brings deep expertise and a warm, grounded presence to every session.

My practice is built on the belief that every person deserves compassionate care that honors their unique story, struggles, and strengths. Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, grief, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I’m here to help.

Therapy with me is collaborative. I'm not here to "fix" you, I'm here to walk beside you as you discover what healing, balance, and empowerment look like in your life.

Outside of work, I enjoy camping with my family, traveling and staying active at the gym. I value balance and wellness in my own life and bring that same perspective into therapy practice. I love soccer as well as passionately cheering on my favorite NBA and WNBA teams.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree from Mankato State University and my Master’s degree from University of South Carolina, Columbia. My background included more than a decade in-home crisis therapy in Minneapolis and surrounding area, where I supported families in high-stress and high-conflict situations. This experience gave me deep insight into child behavior, parent-child relationships and family systems under pressue. Moreover, I continue to support students in school-based settings(part-time) giving me additiona awareness of academic stress, social struggles and developmental changes in children and adoloscents.

With all that said, transitioning into outpatient mental health has been incredibly fulfilling. Working with individuals across the entire lifespan—from children to older adults—has truly expanded my professional horizons. Every day, I feel deeply honored to step into my clients' lives, learn about their unique journeys, and walk alongside them. This change of environment has brought immense joy to my practice and renewed my passion for this work.
